Inaugurated in 1898, the year Laboratories ANIOS was established, the Institut Pasteur of Lille worked extensively at the beginning of its activity in Lille for the agri-food industry through its work on fermentation, the questioning of spontaneous generation of micro-organisms, and the importance of vaccination and hygiene in the eradication of epidemics.

Our regional roots and our fight against microbes naturally led us to support the renovation of the Pasteur Museum in Lille.

This is a way of highlighting the perseverance and humanism of scientists who have worked to ensure that the fight against infections becomes the established rule in all fields of activity.
